Symsoft was founded in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1989. The long experience and continuous focus on building business values for customers has guided the company to become an established and trusted player that operators trust to manage business-critical processes.
Symsoft began its forays into the mobile market in the 1990s by selling an innovative solution for monetizing messaging in real-time to the operator Telia Mobile (now TeliaSonera). This successful deployment led on to additional mobile operators investing in Symsoft’s solutions and helped the company build an expertise in messaging and online charging.
To be able to meet customer demands for rapid and efficient innovation, the Symsoft Telecommunications Platform was soon developed to serve as a foundation for all Symsoft products and solutions. The platform enabled the creation of a broad portfolio for a range of operator needs. The Symsoft Telecommunications Platform still serves as an important enabler of our innovation and efficient product development at Symsoft.
New Client Segments
Symsoft has also expanded beyond serving mobile network operators. Our expertise in combination with our broad portfolio has made the Symsoft offering highly attractive to Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) and Enablers (MVNEs). Symsoft began working actively with MVNOs in the mid 2000s, providing efficient solutions for service delivery and online charging.
Part of CLX Communications
Late 2009 Symsoft merged with CLX Networks, a global provider of enterprise cloud communications. Together the two companies founded CLX Communications, helping both mobile operators and enterprises with communication services and solutions.
